At Family Tree Nursery, we care deeply about our plants — and even more about our customers. Our return and refund policy is designed to give you full peace of mind when shopping with us. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and we’re here to make it right.
🌿 1. Our 90-Day Return Promise
We proudly offer a 90-day return window for all eligible items. That’s three full months to decide if your plant is the perfect fit for your home or space.
You may return any plant or product purchased from us within 90 calendar days of delivery for a full refund, provided the item is:

Not damaged after arrival

Packed safely to avoid damage in return transit

Accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g. order number or email confirmation)
📦 We want returns to be easy, no stress involved!
📋 2. What Can Be Returned?
You may return:

🌱 Indoor or outdoor plants that arrive healthy but you no longer wish to keep

🪴 Pots, planters, accessories that are unused and in original packaging

🌿 Products that don’t match your expectations (as long as they are not damaged)
We accept change-of-mind returns – because we want you to truly love what you buy.
❌ 3. What Cannot Be Returned?
We do not accept returns on:

Plants that were damaged or neglected after delivery

Items returned after the 90-day window

Customized or special-order plants (e.g. rare collector’s cuttings)

Plants affected by improper care (e.g. overwatering, sunburn, repotting damage)
Plants are living things and require care – so we can’t refund poor plant parenting! 🥲

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged upon delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected:

📦 6. Damaged or Dead Plant Upon Arrival?
If your plant arrives in poor condition or has been damaged during shipping, we’ve got your back.

We use trusted couriers like FedEx & USPS, but mishaps can happen. Your happiness is our priority. 💚

Currently, we ship only within the United States.
We fulfill orders from our Kansas-based warehouse to ensure freshness and speed.
Delivery timeframe: 2–3 business days
(Shipping times may vary slightly during holidays or due to courier delays.)
